DESLOGE — A litter of four puppies was abandoned at the Desloge Police Department Thursday evening. The Lab mix pups are now residents of the Desloge Pound and are in need of homes. Last weekend, Prince, a 6-pound toy poodle, was minding his own business, looking for a place to do his business, when he was jumped by a pit bull and his accomplice in a North Charleston neighborhood. Prince's owners tried to shoo away the attackers, but the pit bull didn't stop until the poodle was limp and lifeless.
